We are currently looking for a dependable and experienced 12 Tonne Sweeper Driver to join our team, operating from FCC Environment in Maidenhead. This role involves maintaining site cleanliness and supporting operational activities by ensuring roads, yards, and operational areas are kept clean, safe, and compliant with environmental standards.

The Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced 12 Tonne Sweeper Driver to join our team, operating from FCC Environment in Maidenhead. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm.
The role involves maintaining cleanliness across site roads, yards, and operational areas to ensure a safe and compliant working environment. You will be responsible for operating the sweeper efficiently within a busy site environment, supporting daily operations, and helping maintain high environmental and health & safety standards.
The successful candidate will take pride in their work, be proactive in identifying areas requiring attention, and represent J Mould (Reading) professionally at all times while on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient operation of a 12T road sweeper
- Maintaining cleanliness of roads, yards, and designated operational areas
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Completing relevant paperwork accurately
- Liaising with site management and staff as required
- Upholding company standards of professionalism and safety
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous road sweeper experience preferred (training can be provided for the right candidate)
- NPORS certification (desired)
- Good understanding of site health & safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
