For 50 years J Mould (Reading) has been involved in the recycling of materials arising from demolition and waste aggregates. Significant investment in 2018 has seen the installation of a state of the art Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) at the Reading Quarry site.

Recycling & Waste Management

Our Recycling Plant

J Mould (Reading) are committed to sustainable development, and our in-house construction-materials recycling operation is a prime example. The facility is capable of recycling nearly all the waste materials that are brought in

Investment

With an investment of almost £2 Million in the new MRF site, it will allow J Mould (Reading) to recycle all materials tipped on-site therefore reducing landfill disposal.

Three R's Principle

At J Mould (Reading), we focus heavily on the three R’s principle – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. This helps to cut down on the amount of waste that is thrown away which conserves our natural resources, landfill space and energy.

Commercial to Domestic

With our MRF site, we recycle most of the waste from commercial, industrial and households like wood, cardboard, paper, plastics, plasterboard, carpets, metals and much more. These valuable commodities are then sent on for reprocessing and turned back into useable products.

Our Washplant

Our in-house construction-materials recycling operation is capable of recycling nearly all the waste materials that are brought in, these are then sent back to construction projects as recycled products.
