Waste Management
We have recycled demolition and construction material at Reading Quarry for fifty-seven years. £3 million invested in our Materials Recycling Facility means 98.06% of what we collect is recycled rather than sent to landfill.
From commercial and industrial waste to wood, cardboard, plastics, plasterboard and metals, material is weighed in, sorted and processed on the same site it arrives at. What comes out goes back into the supply chain as recycled aggregate and reprocessed material.
Our Priorities
Reduce, reuse, recycle is the order we work in. Anything that can be used again is taken out before anything is processed, and anything that can be processed is, before anything is disposed of.
That is how 98.06% of what we collect avoids landfill, and why the aggregate we sell comes from material someone else was throwing away.

What We Recycle

Our Recycling Plant
The facility processes 200 tonnes an hour, sorting mixed loads into wood, metal, plastics, plasterboard, cardboard and inert material for reprocessing.
3 million has gone into the plant since 2018, which is why material arriving as mixed waste leaves as graded aggregate and reprocessed stock rather than going to landfill.
OUR FLEET
Every collection and delivery runs on plant and vehicles we own. The fleet holds FORS accreditation and DVSA Earned Recognition, which means our systems and records are audited directly rather than our lorries being stopped at the roadside.

Your waste does not change hands. It leaves your site on our lorry and is processed at our own facility, so there is one company on the paperwork from start to finish.
The same family have run this site from the start, investing in plant, people and the local community along the way.
Our demolition operatives train through the National Demolition Training Group, and we hold twelve industry accreditations, including DVSA Earned Recognition, CSCS Platinum, NFDC and FORS.
Roll-on/roll-off lorries, bulkers, tippers, grab lorries, HIAB, low loader and walking floor, all owned outright. Lines open at 6:30am, so collections can be arranged before work starts on site.
From hazardous waste and asbestos removal to Section 80 demolitions, we take on the work other contractors turn away.
